Caroline joined Rushtons’ Forensic Accounting team in November 2017 and is responsible for the day to day management of forensic accounting work, and for expanding this area of business.
Caroline, who trained with a Big 4 accountancy firm, is an experienced forensic accountant, having spent almost 18 years in a niche forensic accounting practice prior to joining Rushtons. She is adept at reviewing and evaluating the economic loss element of a claim or dispute, thereby assisting clients, be it insurers, lawyers, corporates or individuals in the settlement process, with flexible reporting, usually by way of a written report (either in an advisory format or formal CPR-format expert witness reports). She is experienced in analysing and evaluating the financial elements of businesses, across a broad range of industries.
Caroline is experienced in the preparation of expert accounting evidence for mediation and trial (on behalf of defendants, claimants and in the role of single joint expert). Caroline has both prepared reports under the direction of other experts, and authored reports in her own name.
Caroline is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA) and a Member of the Academy of Experts (MAE).
